The 2008
Sponsorship Breakfast was held at Golden Corral on June 12, 2008
Tommy
Oakley, Pharmacist/Owner of Community Pharmacy Services was our morning
speaker.
Below are
brainstorming ideas from those attendees for
increasing number of sponsors or increasing sponsorship levels. within our
community.
Winning Entry was submitted by Donnie
Solomon, Sheila Van Hoy from Carpet One and Portia Lewis from Jimmy Lewis
and Sons. They each receive a $750 bump in their corporate
sponsorship level.
"Create a marketing kit to take out
to prospects"
Other entries included:
1. Each current sponsor commits to go out
and get another sponsor
2. Display "where the money
goes" and put in doctor's offices, newspapers, radio, banks and how
this helps Person County. Better educate the public.
3. Fundraisers, luncheons, breakfasts
4. Car washes, yard sales, auctions
5. Company matches what employees give
6. Raffle tickets for a gas card
7. Employees that donate get their name
displayed in the lobby
8. Raffle for a fishing rod
9. Sell hot dog lunches to plant
employees
